In this week's Shutter Speed, we're showcasing the welcome return of the Australian Grand Prix, which returned with a new and improved look for 2022.
Changes to the circuit brought higher speeds and improved overtaking, creating a canvas for Formula One's leading photographers to capture the spirit of the fan-favourite race as it returned for the first time since 2019.
Join Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One™ Team and Motorsport Images photographer Zak Mauger as he explains the details that created a stunning array of images.

"This is a shot that's been changed by the recent changes to Albert Park.
"Here, the new high-speed section has made for an incredibly fast section of track and, while we have lost some of the scenic photos that we used to take, you can still make sure that the classic Melbourne skyline still features."

"For the first time since 2019, the driver parade once again took place in cars, which made for some great candid shots, using the late afternoon light to make it more dynamic and highlight Seb's facial expression while he was sharing a joke with fans in the grandstands."

"I really like how this shot has an orange tint, created by shooting in the direction of the sun.
"I used a shallow depth of field to isolate Sebastian climbing out of the AMR22.
"With the lighting effect, you end up with a really atmospheric and striking shot of Sebastian on the grid."

"The story of our weekend was all about teamwork, and this image shows that during a pitstop.
"Using a telephoto zoom lens allows you to be really versatile - you can take a few different variations during the pitstops.
"In this shot, I was also able to get the fans peering from above too."

"This is a shot that's unique to 2022 because Formula One has brought in a new segment called Show and Tell, where the teams park the car outside of the garage and allow people to get up and close with any changes to the car.
"With the AMR22 sitting outside the garage as the sun set, it was the perfect time to capture some small details and the sponsors of the car."
