Aston Martin in Formula One
Our history forms the platform for the Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One™ Team to race in Formula One after a 61-year absence for the Aston Martin brand. But while it’s been a long time coming, Aston Martin’s Grand Prix history can be traced back to 1922 at the French Grand Prix. From its debut, via privateer heroics and a first attempt on the World Championship in 1959-60, through to the modern day, Aston Martin has a rich legacy in Formula One.
