    Additive Manufacturing Leader – Full Size,

    based in our fantastic new campus, AMRTC.

    The successful candidate will have multiple years’ experience in multiple additive manufacturing technologies in a high-level motorsport or aerospace environment. They will have a good attention to detail, work calmly and accurately under pressure, work positively and enthusiastically in a small team and have a flexible attitude to helping fulfil the requirements of the department and team as a whole.

    Working day shift in the additive manufacturing team, this role will primarily be focused on ensuring the operation of the department is efficient, organised, and delivering on time to the full size, whilst always championing continuous improvement. Overseeing people management and compliance with policies and procedures is a crucial part of the role.

    The Successful candidate must have the following attributes:

    - Deliver projects on time while maintaining quality across ADM department.

    - Understand the overall expectation of the manufacturing process requirements.

    - Ensure that all race car components have been manufactured to standard operating procedures.

    - Review and continuously improve ADM planning, processes, and strategies.

    - Responsible for people issues, i.e, annual leave, unauthorised absence, and performance issues.

    - Report major people issues to the Additive Manufacturing Manager.

    - Manage the shift rota for department staff.

    - Chair, attend and proactively participate in meetings as required.

    - Contribute proactively, responsibly, and professionally at all times and to continually build and lead the culture across the additive manufacturing area.

    - Develop work area and practices in line with 5S lean manufacturing.

    - Define and implement new processes.

    - Managing resource and scheduling work to meet demanding manufacturing programmes.

    - Monitoring the quality and quantity of personnel and technology output, react to issues with training and or calibrations where appropriate.

    - Reviewing staff performance, helping guide the team with continuous improvement.

    - Define and implement new processes across the team.

    - Conduct R&D of potential technology applications.

    - Conduct R&D to overcome technology limitations.

    - Continuous interaction with the design group to ensure optimum design-for-manufacture at all times.

    - Daily progress chasing on all work streams.

  • Additive Manufacturing Production Planner

    Additive Manufacturing Production Planner.

    The successful candidate will have previous experience of additive manufacturing in a high-level motorsport environment, have good attention to detail, work calmly and accurately under pressure, work positively and enthusiastically in a small team and have a flexible attitude to helping fulfil the requirements of the department and team as a whole.

    Working day shift in the additive manufacturing team, the production planner will primarily be focused on the planning and implementation of the key requirements of Additive Manufacturing into the model and full-size teams. Whilst also ensuring production through the team flows smoothly and efficiently through the ADM department and into wider team.

    Machine operation and post processes of builds are also a key requirement of the role.

    Responsibilities of the role:

    - To analyse projects and their component quantities for upcoming wind tunnel and race events ensuring correct components are available when required through meetings, liaising with other departments, following a robust system of storage and ensuring traceability of parts.

    - Working on continuous development projects within the remit of part traceability, storage, and delivery.

    - To provide senior leadership with a series of reports including additive manufacturing production data and other KPI data.

    - Production planning from design releases into the ERP system, ensuring tight timelines are met.

    - Working with supply chain on make vs buy decisions.

    - Organise multi-stage parts such as annealing, coating, anodising, heat treat, metal coating for ADM and inhouse finishing for DMLS (machine shop) and SLA/SLS (ADM).

    - Project planning with Model and full-size teams on delivery of large manufacturing projects.

    - Competent operation of all machines.

    - Post Process builds for all technologies.

    - To maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard.

    - To attend and proactively participate in meetings as required

    Role Requirements:

    - To assure the quality of internally and externally manufactured metallic components meets the required standard.

    - Demonstrate a good working knowledge of Co-Ordinate Measuring Machines, Absolute arms, Shadowgraphs, Contour Tracers, and handheld measuring equipment.

    - The ability to read technical drawings.

    - Demonstrate a good working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems such as IFS, SAP or similar.

    - Demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.

    - Previous experience as a Mechanical Inspector or similar in a Formula One environment / high level Motorsport environment would be advantageous.

    - Demonstrate experience in the manufacture of wind tunnel models and the components required for aero testing through various manufacturing processes.

    - Competent in identifying potential shortages of parts or concerns of part quality and raising these issues with the Model department leads.

    Purpose:

    - The key objective of this role is to deliver assets that are set out within out partner contracts. Reporting to the Head of Partnership Operations / Senior Partnership Operations Manager the Partnership Executive is responsible for assisting with the day – to day operation of Partnerships Operation, also supporting where needed for off – site projects and events. Provide support to the Partner Ops and Services team and work in collaboration with the wider Commercial department.

    - To deliver a high level of customer service and overall high-end output to all programmes. Forward planning, attention to detail, multi-tasking, flexibility and being extremely organised are essential skills for this role.

    Responsibilities:

    - Day-to-day support of the Partnerships Operations Team.

    - Provide administrative assistance to the Partnerships Operations and Services Team on wider projects to include photoshoots, filming & PR Days.

    - Assisting with Paddock Club ticket fulfilment working to ensure all tickets are received, logged packed and dispatched as per our guests’ requirements.

    - Co-ordinate on Partnerships travel, updating internal documentation.

    - Co-ordinate the management of talent and driver schedules ahead of a race weekend, to include collating requests and uploading them to our scheduling platform.

    - Stock check of driver & mechanic tech wear, working with the Race Team co-ordinator to ensure all items are on the freight.

    - Assisting with the management of replica cars, to include logging requests, working with 3rd parties and organising loan agreements to ensure smooth delivery of the replica car.

    - Administration support to Partner Operations including posting, gifting, minute taking and diary management.

    - On-site support, factory events, track days and British Grand Prix HQ hospitality

    - Carry out any other reasonable duties as defined by the company.

    Purpose:

    - To manage F1 Evolution events inventory control both physically and electronically.

    - To manage and issue trackside component allocations in line with component life requirements

    - To accurately produce inventory requests, manage stock levels and highlight shortages in a timely manner

    - To pack/unpack parts travelling to/from the track, be involved in loading of freight along with garage build at F1 Evolution events

    - To issue a variety of components and assemblies to Evolution project mechanics adhering to projected mileage expectations

    - To assist Chief Mechanic/Number One Mechanic in damage reporting and work requests

    - To manage F1 Evolution driver and team clothing requirements

    - To travel to all F1 Evolution events, along with storage locations in which the projects inventory is held

    - To actively contribute to the Team’s primary objective of consistently being a top three team in the FIA Formula One Constructor’s Championship

    Primary Responsibilities

    - To ensure trackside parts inventory is managed and available as required, working closely with the Heritage Support

    - To ensure parts are issued to reflect the associated allocations in line with component life requirements

    - To manage component allocations and record component allocation changes trackside

    - To manage and develop the F1 Evolution inventory management systems

    - To produce trackside shortage reports from event to event based on parts usage and stock quantities

    - To ensure all trackside returns requests are fulfilled and manage trackside to factory returns shipments

    - To assist Chief Mechanic/Number One Mechanic with damaged parts recording to action new orders or work required to parts

    - To ensure driver technical kit is approved for use and available when required

    - To ensure the correct team clothing is available at the track, keeping updated on team personnel sizes and changes required

    - To ensure sufficient levels of race team PPE are available trackside from event to event

    - To travel to all F1 Evolution events and support F1 Race Events if required

    - To attend and proactively participate in build meetings as required

    - To work proactively, responsibly, and professionally, in accordance with the company’s reporting structure

    - To maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard

    - Any other duties as reasonably requested aligned to your job role

    Skills & Knowledge Required

    - Possess an excellent working knowledge of inventory management/control and have experience in its associated software systems

    - Possess a thorough understanding of freight control, including the safe and appropriate transport of a variety of vehicle assemblies

    - Demonstrate a good working knowledge of allocations, technical drawings, and schedules

    - Previous experience as parts / stock control or similar in a F1, F2, F3, Sportscars or other high level Motorsport environment

    - Ability to demonstrate good working relationships with both internal departments and outside suppliers

    - To be available to travel as and when required to fulfil the requirements of the role, along side appropriate ad-hoc duties

    Role Responsibilities:

    - To carry out proof testing and legality checking of car components to specified standards

    - To carry out development work on car components to specified standards

    - To take responsibility for the build and execution of R&D tests including sensor setup, data logging and the post processing of data

    - To digitally record and document all critical information and data from tests performed in accordance with the test request and specifications then subsequently integrate this information into company systems and formats for reporting and future recall

    - To competently and safely operate all test benches and equipment that are pertinent to your role and any associated software tasks that may be implemented

    - Support requests and test demand as directed by the R&D Test Manager, liaising with engineers from across the company and keeping key stakeholders informed of progress at each stage

    - Contribute to the good housekeeping and continuous improvement of the R&D workshop

    - To manage own workload effectively, meeting tight deadlines where required and support general departmental workload as required

    - To chair, attend and proactively participate in meetings as required

    - To work proactively, responsibly, and professionally at all times and to respect and comply with the company’s reporting structure

    - Any other duties as reasonably requested aligned to your job role

    Essential Skills & Knowledge Required:

    - Possess an excellent working knowledge of assembly techniques for both small and large scale test assemblies

    - Possess a thorough understanding of a range of car components, their purpose and the critical performance and reliability aspects of their behaviour

    - Continue to develop skills, knowledge and understanding of structural proof testing, durability and fatigue testing and systems sign off and their importance for good reliability of our car at the race track

    - Possess an excellent standard of IT literacy in company PLM systems, Microsoft Excel and Word, ATLAS and System Monitor and other data logging packages

    - Use initiative and analytical thinking along with a methodical and structured approach to your work

    - To be self-motivated and actively motivate peers to thrive in a challenging environment

    - Educated to a Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a relevant/transferable field

    - Demonstrate a positive and “can do” attitude

    - Adopt a consistent and positive approach in times of pressure and high workload to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales
