Our driver squadOur driver squad

The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team driver squad comprises youth and experience, and features World Champions and up-and-coming stars of the future.
Lance Stroll
A mercurial talent from Canada – after blitzing the junior single-seater ranks, Lance jumped straight from F3 to F1 while still a teenager. His steely determination and focus have characterised his F1 career: partnered against race winners and World Champions alike, he has always held his own.

Fernando Alonso
Feared by rivals for his ceaseless combativity, the 44-year-old double World Champion has lost none of the speed and guile that have defined an F1 career spanning more than two decades. The Spaniard's skill, speed and experience are helping to drive us forward on our journey to becoming title challengers.

Jak Crawford
One of the most promising young American talents, Jak has garnered multiple karting titles and recorded victories at almost every level of junior single-seater racing. He continues his motorsport journey in 2026 with Aston Martin Aramco as the team's third driver. In his role, Jak will be called upon to support race operations at every grand prix weekend and with frequent driver-in-the-loop simulator work at the AMR Technology Campus.

Stoffel Vandoorne
Stoffel set a blistering pace in prestigious junior categories on the road to F1, winning a third of the races on his way to the 2015 F2 title. The Belgian raced in F1 for two seasons before competing in Formula E where he clinched the title in only his third season in the category.

Jenson Button
Jenson is one of Formula One's most accomplished drivers. Renowned for his racecraft, technical sensitivity, and adaptability, Jenson's glittering F1 career spanned 306 Grands Prix in which he amassed 50 podiums, 15 victories, and one of the most memorable World Championship titles following a remarkable 2009 campaign.

Pedro de la Rosa
Pedro forged his reputation in Japan's ultra-competitive national championships, with title victories in F3, Formula Nippon and Super GT earning him a drive in F1. He competed in 107 Grands Prix between 1999 and 2012 but earned even greater praise in his role as a development driver, driving more than 65,000 test miles in F1 machinery.

Mari Boya
A promising talent and well-rounded athlete, with a strong track record, natural speed, and a determined mindset, Mari is one of the most exciting prospects in Spanish motorsport. In 2026, Mari is making his debut in the FIA Formula 2 Championship.

Jessica Hawkins
The first woman to drive a modern F1 car in almost half a decade, Jessica has never shied away from breaking convention. An LGBTQ+ ambassador and advocate for equality and inclusion, she switched to stunt driving after an early foray into single-seaters. She later joined W Series where she quickly emerged as a frontrunner and raced competitively in all three W Series seasons. She has since turned her attention to GT racing and is chasing her dream of competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Mathilda Paatz
After beginning her racing career in karting in 2019 at the age of 10, Mathilda has quickly demonstrated her potential and solidified her name as a talented young driver.
