After taking part in 2019's ADAC Kart Cup, Mathilda participating in several ADAC Kart Masters competitions between 2020 and 2022, including securing a standout victory in the 2022 Ladies Cup, finishing third overall in the standings. Mathilda Paatz's Biography
Mathilda began her racing career in karting in 2019 at the age of 10, quickly demonstrating her potential with a third-place finish in the 2020 ADAC Kart Masters – Mini category. She went on to record a standout victory in the 2022 ADAC Kart Masters – Ladies Cup, finishing third overall in the standings.
Transitioning to single-seaters in 2024 with ADAC Formel Junior Team in F4 France, Mathilda, the first female driver supported by the ADAC Motorsport Junior programme, continued to demonstrate competitive performances, claiming four wins in the 2025 E4 Championship – Trophy Woman and multiple class podiums in the renowned Italian F4 Championship.
In June 2025, Mathilda made her F1 ACADEMY debut as a Wild Card entry in Montreal, driving the No.8 Gatorade-liveried car operated by Hitech TGR. This milestone came on the heels of a strong showing in the F4 Central European Zone Championship, where she secured a podium with a second-place finish at the Red Bull Ring and finished eighth overall in the standings with multiple top five results. Mathilda's entry marks her as the second F4 CEZ driver to join the series and underscores her rise as a talented young driver on the international stage.
