Sebastian on retirement, the fans, and his favourite sandwich

Sebastian Vettel sat down for a Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% and answered your questions for one last time as an AMF1 driver, including the one we all want the answer to – does he like his sandwiches in triangles or squares?

Although Sebastian Vettel has been a regular fixture on the Formula One grid for the past 15 years, there are still plenty of questions that have gone unanswered.

Before the final race of his F1 career, Sebastian enjoyed a Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% and joined Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% Global Brand Ambassador Simone Caporale on a video call to answer questions sent in by AMF1 fans.

The questions ranged from the weird to the wonderful, with Sebastian revealing what track he'd most like to drive around backwards (Suzuka), and his most memorable fan encounters.

"There have been many memorable ones, and crazy ones, and really nice ones," says Sebastian.

"When I realise how inspired people feel by what we do as a team and as a sport, and witness their emotions and their passion first-hand, it's similar to the passion that we have in the team, so I definitely feel the connection with them."

He also reveals how he'll miss driving the cars and the fierce on-track competition but adds, "I look forward to what's coming, and I'm very excited about the future."

Sebastian explains to Simone that top of his current music playlist is 1980s classic "Your Love" by The Outfield and why a good knife is important when eating sandwiches.

"If you've got a mega knife, then you can cut it diagonally. If you haven't, it would have to be straight, or into squares."

And as for what sandwich filling he'd go for? That's a little trickier…
