The classic Autodromo Nazionale Monza hosted Formula One's final European race of the season, and its stunning natural setting gave photographers the opportunity to snap plenty of dramatic pictures.

We've curated our favourite images from the Italian Grand Prix weekend, capturing the atmosphere and the beauty from one of motor racing's oldest venues.

The team welcomed Nyck de Vries for his AMF1 practice debut, and he completed 22 laps in FP1.

Lance had a productive Friday, completing more than a race distance across the day of running.

Sebastian returned to the car for FP2, and was eager to head to the track.

Sebastian completed 26 laps on Friday in a useful day of running for the team.

The team ran with stickers on the car across the weekend following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Starting Saturday's action, Lance headed out onto the track to get some Hard tyre running in.

Sebastian used every bit of track in qualifying, but missed out on a Q2 spot by seven hundredths of a second.

Lance also exited in Q1, but both drivers would start just outside of the top 10 for the race.

Sebastian was ready for race day as he headed into the garage.

Sebastian raced with a special helmet this weekend, commemorating his first F1 win and 100 years of racing at Monza.

Starting mid-pack, Lance and Sebastian had a good start.

The pair battled on lap two, with Lance getting ahead of Sebastian for 10th.

Lance and Sebastian held off faster cars in the early stages of the race.

Lance battled hard with Nicholas Latifi shortly after his pitstop.

Sadly, Sebastian's race concluded after just 11 laps with an ERS issue.

Lance had to retire with 14 laps to go, as the team opted to preserve his engine.

It was a challenging weekend for the team, but it will return under the lights in Singapore in two weeks time.
