The debut of the Miami International Autodrome gave new landscapes for our photographers to work with, including the Hard Rock Stadium and a marina display, all of which is captured in this week's selection.

Join Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One™ Team and Motorsport Images photographer Zak Mauger as he explains the details that created a stunning array of images.

"Miami was a brand new venue for both drivers and photographers, and we quickly found some unique corners.

"The Turnpike section between Turns 14-16 was one of them, with multiple bridges running across the track.

"Here, I've purposely underexposed the shot to create high contrast, which highlights Lance coming out of the shadows created by the bridges."

"I used the reflections from the side panelling to create a mirror image of Sebastian leaving the garage, creating a truly unique shot centred around the AMR22 entering the pitlane."

"The Miami heat was intense and really tough on the drivers, so this image helps tell that story.

"I've used a shallow aperture to isolate Lance's eye as the sweat begins to build up.

"It's an image that showcases that narrative and was a factor behind the Grand Prix we all watched."

"This shot is made by the weather. The clouds tended to build up during the day, especially as the start of the race edged closer.

"I've used a very slow shutter speed of one-thirteenth of a second to isolate Lance as he worked his way through the Marina Section."

"During Free Practice Three, the team really focused on its pitstops and I think there were three or four practice stops that took place.

"I really liked shooting from the pitwall angle using a slow shutter speed as Lance left the pitbox."

"I noticed the palm tree and stadium roof vantage point during the track walk, so I decided to take a recce of the position and suss it out.

"It became a very tricky shot to take as you couldn't see the cars come through the trees, costing some preparation time."
