In 2015, Mari was crowned Spanish karting champion in the cadete category and achieved the same feat in in 2016, before winning the junior category in and the IAME Winter Cup in 2018.

Mari Boya's Biography
Born in 2004, Mari Boya is one of the most exciting prospects in Spanish motorsport, having emerged as a standout driver during his time in FIA Formula 3. He is taking on the new challenge of competing in FIA Formula 2 in 2026.
After a successful karting career at national and international levels, Mari transitioned to single-seaters in 2020, finishing runner-up in the Formula Renault Eurocup.
From 2023, he competed in the FIA Formula 3 Championship with Campos Racing. Highlights that year also included a fourth-place finish in his Macau Grand Prix debut, before breaking Max Verstappen's record for places gained in the prestigious race by climbing from last to seventh a year later. In 2024, he also recorded his first F3 victory in the Sprint Round in Spain.
In 2025, Mari took a clear step forward in terms of consistency, pace and maturity – emerging as one of the standout drivers in the category, with results including victory at Silverstone and podium finishes in Monaco, Austria, and Hungary as he secured third in the standings. He also took second place at the Macau Grand Prix.
