Aston Martin Aramco Driver Academy member Mari Boya will compete in FIA Formula 2 in 2026 with PREMA Racing, as he continues his journey up the motorsport ladder.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a successful FIA Formula 3 campaign in 2025, finishing third in the Drivers' standings.
It was a year of milestones. He recorded victory in the Feature Race at Silverstone and scored podiums in Monaco, Austria, and Hungary.
He also became the first member of the Aston Martin Aramco Driver Academy in 2025, and this promotion to the chief feeder series of Formula One marks the latest step on his motorsport career path.
Reflecting on the news, Mari said:
"I'm very happy and excited about this new adventure. Racing in FIA Formula 2 with a team like PREMA Racing and as a driver of the Aston Martin Aramco Driver Academy is an exciting challenge.
"After a 2025 season with strong results, moving up to the final step before F1 is exactly what I wanted, and I can't wait to get started. I will give my best to achieve good results for the team."
