Our environmental obligation is incredibly important to us. Accordingly, we are developing and growing our environmental policy in order to fulfil our commitment to operating as a responsible business in every department.
Across every element of the business – from the design and construction of our cars, the maintenance and development of our facilities and our global travel footprint – we are striving for continuous improvement in our environmental performance.
Our objective and commitments to both the environment and community can be summarised as:
Comply with all relevant environmental legislation as well as other environmental requirements, while continually striving beyond these targets at every opportunity.
Commit to continuously reducing our energy and resource consumption in the manufacture and operation of our business as we strive to minimise our carbon footprint.
Set standards for managing our environmental performance and ensure strict control over the environmental aspects of all processes and facilities.
Minimise the impact of AMF1 Team through effective waste management.
Consider environmental issues and energy performance when acquiring or refurbishing buildings, including the site location, as well as our use of them.
Promote sustainable product design and construction, with consideration from a life-cycle perspective, harnessing the power of Formula One's platform to do so.
Communicate openly about our environmental policy, working with our partners, suppliers and people to promote improved environmental standards and to build on feedback.
