F1 2027 calendar revealed – everything you need to know

Mark your diary, the 2027 Formula One World Championship calendar has been confirmed. Read on for all the details.

The 2027 Formula One season will feature 24 Grands Prix across 22 countries and 10 Sprint events – four more than ever before.

Pre-season testing will once more take place in Bahrain from 24–27 February before the championship returns there for the first race of the year. Forming a double-header with Saudi Arabia, the opening two rounds of the 2027 season will mark the sport's racing return to the countries.

Following that, we head to Melbourne for the Australian Grand Prix in early April, and then to Japan, China, Miami, and Canada.

The European leg of the season starts in June with the Monaco Grand Prix, and includes F1's return to Portugal in the same month, with Türkiye also rejoining the calendar in October between Azerbaijan and Singapore.

The number of Sprint events has increased from six to 10 for 2027, delivering a higher dose of the fast-paced weekend format across the season.

Bahrain, Australia, Japan, Monaco, and Abu Dhabi will host Sprint events for the first time, meaning two thrilling Qualifying sessions in Monaco could be one of the highlights of the year.

Canada, Great Britain, Italy, Brazil, and Qatar will be the other five Sprint weekends of the season.
