Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll only want to go faster. No stone left unturned in the pursuit of progress, nothing left on the table. The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team duo are zeroing in on 2024.
After our strongest season to date in 2023, there's more to achieve, more hills to climb, more peaks to reach, and only complete focus will enable them to realise those ambitions.
It all starts now.
A new Aston Martin F1 Team car, set to be unveiled to the world on 12 February, awaits Fernando and Lance but first, they must complete their respective seat fits for the AMR24.
Only meticulous preparation will suffice, every detail is considered and optimised to find the optimum position in the car: perfecting the distance to the pedals and steering wheel, ensuring they have a clear vision from the cockpit of what lies ahead.
We also join Fernando as he climbs into the simulator – a state-of-the-art testing ground where he and fellow members of the Aston Martin F1 Team driver squad hone their skills and work with our engineers to unlock more performance.
Corner after corner, lap after lap, total concentration on the task at hand. Every shred of data pored over and analysed together with a crack team of engineers to extract every drop of performance. Nothing is left to chance.
This is the commitment, dedication and hard work beyond what you see at the racetrack.
Presiding over pre-season preparations, meanwhile, is Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team Principal Mike Krack. He explains what hyper-focus means to us as a team, as we bid to take the next step on our journey up the grid.
