This year, we celebrated Make A Mark Day with a two-day programme aimed at supporting young people to take the next steps in their career.
Ahead of the British Grand Prix, we invited high school students and undergraduate university students to the AMR Technology Campus for two full days of activity as part of our fourth annual Make A Mark Day initiatives.
Joining together with our partners, we provided a series of sessions to support learning and to inform young people about the opportunities available within our business and the wider STEM sector.
Concluding the event, a fireside chat inspired and empowered students, offering them tangible actions to accelerate their careers, a greater understanding of what it takes to thrive in motorsport and a clearer view of the skills they should build and the mindset they need to succeed.

Signal to Speed
In this hands-on workshop, our official AI Compute Platform Partner Arm guided students on using Micro:bit’s CreateAI. Demonstrating ways of training a machine learning model to recognise Formula 1-style hand gestures, the sessions combined education on coding, AI understanding and teamwork in a fast-paced engineering challenge.
Skills for Success
Exploring the real-world career roles available to students, Citi linked the attendee's studies to industry opportunities while identifying the key skills needed to thrive in a global financial services environment.

Future Ready: Exploring Tomorrow’s Careers with Tech
In a discussion-led session, Cognizant, our Global Technology Services Partner, allowed students to explore the ways in which technology and AI are transforming industries. With a focus on identifying career opportunities, the discussion encouraged critical thinking and provided education around emerging STEM roles and the skills needed to thrive.
Augmenting Reality: Create and Explore with CareAR
Xerox's session revolved around teaching the power of augmented reality. Offering hands-on experience with CareAR, Xerox taught students how to use no-code tools to create interactive solutions and develop key digital and soft skills.
Race against the clock to save the world from climate change
Our Official Skincare Partner, ELEMIS, set a fast-paced, collaborative card-based challenge. Encouraging students to uncover the science behind climate change, attendees had to connect cause and effect while racing to find solutions before time ran out.

Making a Mark at AMRTC
Over the British Grand Prix weekend, students stepped behind the scenes at our Silverstone campus for Make A Mark Day 2025, our flagship education outreach event.
Aleto Graduation
As well as our Make a Mark Day activities, we welcomed our 2024-25 cohort of students from Aleto Foundation for their graduation.
Designed to provide young ethnic minority students with experience in motorsport and STEM, the nine-month tailored programme was a chance for this year's cohort to develop knowledge and skills alongside dedicated mentors.
In celebration of their graduation, Aston Martin Aramco Head of F1 ACADEMY and Driver Ambassador Jessica Hawkins and F1 ACADEMY driver Tina Hausmann met up with the graduates, followed by a presentation of their certificates. Students were then treated to a surprise tour of the paddock and pitlane at Silverstone Circuit during the British Grand Prix weekend.
