    We have a new opportunity to be part of the Build and Car Assembly Team in the role of Assembly Technician.

    PURPOSE

    To build and service car related sub-assemblies in accordance with the specification required

    To actively contribute to the Team's primary objective of consistently being a top three team in the FIA Constructors' Championship

    Working closely with the Race Team to provide projects and service delivery for each event as required.

    Primary Responsibilities

    To build, service and maintain all Race and Test car components as required

    To maintain the relevant service records of these assemblies

    To carry out general maintenance on all rigs and equipment needed in the servicing and testing of these assemblies

    To be actively involved in any development/test programs associated with these components including initial car build, 7 post rig work, and driver seat fits

    To attend any off-site static car related tests if and when required

    To carry out build and general maintenance of equipment

    To communicate any issues or potential problems through the correct channels

    To provide end to end support for the Race Team to ensure all assemblies are available on time and as design intention

    To assist in the training of any new members of the department

    To attend races and tests when required

    To work proactively, responsibly and professionally at all times and to respect and comply with the company's reporting structure Any other duties as reasonably requested aligned to you job role

    Skills & Knowledge Required

    Possess a thorough understanding of building and servicing all relevant sub-assemblies associated with a current formula one car

    Previous experience in Hydraulics and Dampers advantageous

    Demonstrate a good working knowledge in understanding assembly drawings and detailed build procedures

    Previous experience as a mechanic or similar in a Formula One environment or equivalent high level Motorsport environment

    Have the ability to achieve targets within determined timescales

    To be self-motivated and able to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environment

    Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales

    Ability to demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills

    On this occasion we are supporting in the appointment of a Business Assurance Manager for their team based in Northamptonshire. This role will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and work closely with the Finance Director and wider Senior Management Team across the business.

    Purpose

    Formula 1 has undergone the most fundamental change in financial regulation in its 70 year history and as a result we are looking for someone to work with our established Financial Regulations team to evolve and develop our business processes and ways of working to ensure we operate in the most efficient way possible, whilst ensuring full compliance with the FIA Financial Regulations.

    Responsibilities

    Work with the existing Financial Regulations team to identify efficiency opportunities within the Financial Regulations which require changes to internal processes and ways of working

    Develop and communicate a clear strategy for driving efficiencies across the F1 operations of the group

    Identification of FIA Financial Regulation risks and design and development of process improvements to mitigate those risks

    Proactively work with the operational side of the business to enact and embed changes to processes to improve spend efficiency

    Preparation of clear reports for Senior Management which set out the impact of proposed changes and progress against pre-determined plans

    Creation and management of a clear governance process around system and process changes to ensure compliance with FIA Financial Regulations

    Preparation of regular reports for Senior Management setting out system and process improvements designed and progress against implementation

    Maintain open communication with all levels of management

    Ensure continuous knowledge development regarding the FIA Financial Regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards in order to act as a key subject matter expert within the business

    Skills & Knowledge Required

    Proven working experience at least at a Senior Finance Business partner level

    Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases

    Purpose

    Working with the Guest Services team to achieve the objectives by contributing new ideas and helping to manage specific projects predominantly on-track and expanding experience into off-track & special projects To actively contribute to the Team's primary objective of consistently being a top three team in the FIA Constructor's Championship.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Trackside (reporting into Head of Trackside):

    Management of Paddock Guest Programme at races (reporting into including pre-event planning and preparation, touring AMF1 team guests and coordination of motorhome dinners and media events

    Curating new ideas around the Paddock guest programme to enhance the experiences trackside

    Planning of overseas hospitality Paddock operations

    Management of pre and post event Paddock guest communications, including attendee guides

    Ownership of Paddock guest list management

    Ownership of 1-2 non FOHES Paddock Club operations

    Supporting with Paddock on-site freight management and paddock set up / pack down at attending races

    Ownership of bespoke Partner Paddock activations (reporting into Head of Trackside and Chief of Guest Services and Hospitality)

    Supplier management where required (e.g. trackside catering supplier)

    On this occasion we are supporting in the appointment of a Finance Business Partner (inventory and operations) for their team based in Northamptonshire. This role will report directly to the Head of Business Partnering and work closely with the Finance Director and wider Senior Management Team across the business.

    Purpose

    The primary responsibility for this role will focus on engaging with the Operations teams and will be instrumental in leading, coordinating, delivering improvements and providing key finance oversight on operations and inventory to the senior leadership team.

    Responsibilities

    Work closely with the Design and Production teams to understand operational workflows and drive consistency of process and ERP interaction

    Drive a workstream to design and implement process and system enhancements for improved product costings; co-ordinate workshops between Finance, Operations and IT functions to facilitate this

    Improve finance process in respect of actual and standard product costings including regular review of labour and overhead absorption rates

    Track and report on progress of this and other improvement projects, generating outputs to feed into Steering Committee forums as required

    Identify further opportunities for enhanced business partnering of the manufacturing and production teams, providing accurate and insightful financial analysis and forecasting in order to improve decision making capabilities

    Support and challenge capex spend requests to ensure timely processing and value-for-money

    Provide general oversight of finance operations within area of responsibility

    Work closely with the Operations teams to understand stock workflows and drive/support the implementation of new stock management system

    Financial reconciliation of the stock ledgers, ensuring that system inventory quantities accurately reflects the actual physical balances across all locations, and that stock is accurately valued inclusive of materials, labour and overheads

    Finance lead for planning and execution of full inventory counts and one-off inventory checks, ensuring the company’s ERP is accurately updated in line with this

    Responsibility for ensuring all inventory adjustments and transfers are processed in the ERP in a timely manner, including scrapping, obsolescence, and other stock valuation updates

    Garage Technician – F1 Evolution

    PURPOSE

    1. To assist in completion of garage builds in preparation for F1 Evolution events

    2. To assist in freight planning, loading/ unloading for air, sea, and road

    3. To assist on car related duties during event (fuel, tyres etc)

    4. To ensure all issues are reported to the Chief Mechanic/Number One Mechanic

    5. To ensure a safe working environment and that all Healthy and Safety is followed

    6. To actively participate in pit stops as and when required, including fitness training

    7. To carry out winter freight and equipment service and rebuild

    8. To travel to all F1 Evolution events

    1. To build garages for events, prepare race trucks and work areas as required

    2. To maintain the high standards of garage presentation at all times during an event

    3. To adhere to the schedule for the weekend and ensure readiness for sessions

    4. To communicate effectively and adhere to radio protocol

    5. To ensure effective communication with Chief Mechanic/Number One mechanics when working on the cars

    6. To actively participate in pit stops as allocated and ensure training requests are adhered to

    7. To assist in planning, organising, and effecting garage pack-downs

    8. To ensure safe and secure transportation of all equipment by road, air and sea

    9. To work proactively, responsibly, and professionally, in accordance with the company's reporting structure

    We have an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Aerodynamicist working in the Development group of the Aerodynamics department.

    The successful applicant for this role will have recently graduated with a top-class degree/postgraduate qualification in an Aeronautical/Aerodynamics discipline.

    Within this role you will be responsible for helping to define, develop and implement the current philosophy for the aerodynamics of the Team’s race cars. Your primary responsibility will be working both with CFD and practical aerodynamic testing, taking ideas through from concept generation to execution in the Wind Tunnel including the subsequent performance analysis and report generation.

    The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of aerodynamics, a keen attention to detail, be proactive, enthusiastic and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Some weekend working is also required as part of this role. CAD skills would be beneficial but are not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.

    Who are we looking for?

    A strong IT Scrum Master/Project Manager is required to own and lead a portfolio of application and infrastructure initiatives, delivering new and enhancing existing solutions and services to the broader Team. Upgrades of business-critical applications, migrating to new infrastructure services and building brand new cloud-based solutions all feature in the portfolio.

    The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a track record of project delivery using both waterfall and Agile methodologies and tools; and they will be expected to propose the most suitable delivery methodology for the task/s assigned. The successful candidate will be expected to define and build cross-functional teams to mature the scope, requirements, resource profile etc. to complete the task within pre-defined parameters.

    A core part of the role is also to create appropriate processes, communications, artefacts and an ongoing support structure to successfully transition projects in to BAU, ensuring a seamless handover to Service Delivery and users.

    We are looking for a hands-on and practical team member who can add value to the implementation process.     We have a new opportunity to be part of the Performance team in the role of Junior Strategy Engineer.

    This role will support all FIA Formula 1 championship events. This will involve support from the factory mission control and will attend events trackside on occasion as part of the candidates ongoing development.

    The role will assist in the direction and development of the strategy group and methodology. The successful candidate will also be involved in conception and development of new tools used to optimise strategy; as well as ongoing improvement of existing tools.

    PURPOSE

    Working with the Guest Services team to achieve the objectives by contributing new ideas and helping to manage specific projects predominantly on-track and expanding experience into off-track & special projects. To actively contribute to the Team's primary objective of consistently being a top three team in the FIA Constructor's Championship.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Trackside (80%)

    Reporting into Head of Trackside:

    Paddock Club – pre-event planning, design, scheduling, operational set-up, guest management (semi-private/open suite set-up), occasional travel required

    Help to maintain good working relationships with Formula One Events & Hospitality Services, DO&CO, suite build crew and logistics partner communicating team requirements (pre and post-event)

    Assist with the coordination of the Pre-Season and In-season Test event administration

    Creative input around the Paddock Club guest programme to enhance the experiences trackside

    Supporting Partner Operations with ticket fulfilment and distribution

    Ensure Paddock Club tickets are collected, logged, packed, and dispatched at attending races

    Creation of guest communication, ensuring event information reaches each Paddock Club guest in a timely manner

    Act as the main point of contact for Paddock Club hospitality enquiries via the Guest Services group email account

    Responsible for submitting Paddock Club accreditation requests to meet F1 deadlines

    Coordination of freight management and stock inventory

    Supporting with on-site freight management and set up / pack down at attending races

    Supplier management where required (e.g. suite build supplier)

    Support with sourcing and development of the gifting strategy

    Collate and analysis of post-event data. Presenting options for future programme development

    Managing event budgets, ensuring conscious decisions are made in line with expectations and management of P&L

    Management of procurement processes for suppliers and third parties

    Reporting to the Head of Vehicle Performance, the role is centred around the operation of Driver In the Loop Simulator (DILSim) sessions and the analysis of test items.

    The position will involve close cooperation with Race Engineering, Performance Simulation, Performance Software, Controls, Aerodynamic Performance and Tyre groups.

    It’s the role of the Simulator Test Engineer to:

    Schedule test items according to priority and event calendar.

    Prepare setups/car configs and liaise with the relevant groups to ensure model functionality requirements are met.

    Create and execute efficient run programs considering the elements of real-world testing.

    We have a new opportunity to be part of the Production Control team in the role of Technical Procurement Co-ordinator.

    Purpose

    Procurement and co-ordination of externally sourced components, mainly but not limited to metallics.

    Procurement and co-ordination of any required raw materials.

    To support the ‘Make vs Buy' decisions for metallic machined components.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Reliable purchase of high-quality components, mainly but not limited to metallics, to tight time constraints and competitive prices.

    Co-ordination of components between suppliers and upon receipt where required.

    Purchase of any required raw materials with competitive pricing and timely delivery.

    Procurement of both internally and externally sourced tooling – this could be metallic mould tools for composite components.

    Pro-active communication with the engineering team to achieve the most informed plan for effective procurement.

    Timely co-ordination of components after receipt where required and reporting on any delivery exceptions to the relevant internal persons or department.

    Key supplier liaison with focus on reducing lead-times, increasing agility, delivery performance & achieving best value.

    Ensure suppliers selected are capable of meeting all specifications and quality standards of purchased proprietary components.

    Professional and dynamic representation of the company when dealing with current and any future suppliers

    Onboarding of new suppliers in conjunction with the Supplier Quality Team to enhance the supply chain.

    To chair, attend and proactively participate in meetings as required.

    To work proactively, responsibly and professionally at all times and to respect and comply with the company's culture, reporting structure & policies.

    To maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard and maintain a thorough working knowledge of the company's ERP system, IFS

    Skills & Knowledge Required

    Possess an excellent working knowledge of metallic machined component manufacture.

    Possess an excellent working knowledge of heat and surface treatments which may be typically required on metallic components.

    Possess a good working knowledge of metallic raw materials.

    Must have excellent attention to detail ensure high quality components are delivered within the timescales required.

    Possess the ability to juggle and manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously whilst achieving best value for money, high quality and on-time delivery.

    Possess a thorough understanding of engineering drawings.

    Demonstrate a good working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems such as IFS, SAP or similar

    Demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams

    Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales

    To communicate effectively, positively and respectfully with all colleagues and suppliers

    To have a flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment

    Be enthusiastic and versatile and be able to build, develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues

    We have an exciting opportunity to be part of the Travel Team as a Travel & Race Support Administrator.

    PURPOSE

    To support the Travel Team in placing suitable travel arrangements for all business related travel, both within the UK & overseas.

    Ensure effective & timely administration of all travel related processes.

    Provide support and assistance as required to travellers to ensure optimum service delivery.

    To actively contribute to the Team's primary objective of consistently being a top three team in the FIA Constructor's Championship

    Primary Responsibilities

    Support the administration of travel booking in accordance with the Company's Travel & Expenses policy, ensuring adherence to travel request cut-off dates, and the supporting Travel Request procedure.

    Deliver on customer experience; provide support and assistance on travel related queries, dealing with these promptly.

    Manage the Race Team Recovery Days, tracking and recording days taken in accordance with the Race & Test Schedule plan defined at the start of the racing season.

    Administering expenses and per diems for the Race Teams, ensuring accuracy and timely processing in line with payroll cut-off dates.

    Monitoring of Travel Vaccinations and Covid-19 vaccinations - ensuring travelling team members are up to date with vaccinations and maintaining accurate records.

    Arrangement of Visa Applications and any other travel documents for Race and Test events as and when required.

    Arrangement of passport renewals and applications as and when required.

    Assist with Race Team and Travel administration within required timescales.

    Communicate travel entry requirements for Race and Test events and any Ad Hoc Travel.

    Management of International Driving permits - keeping a record of who holds these and renewal dates. Complete timely renewal applications to ensure driving continuity.

    Processing new starters, obtaining their travel documents and personal information; recording on the central travel system.

    Assist with requests for race attendance accreditation.

    Maintaining strong communications within the Travel team, and outside of the team, making sure stakeholders are communicated to in a timely and clear manner.

    In conjunction with the Travel Manager & Travel Coordinator, actively contribute to the continuous improvement of travel processes and procedures, ensuring they remain relevant and effective.

    Any other duties as reasonably requested aligned to you job role.
