AMR24 hits the track for the first time
The product of our hyper-focus, AMR24 makes on-track debut at Silverstone Circuit moments after breaking cover.
This year, we're doubling down on what matters most on and off the track. After our 2024 challenger was revealed to the world, AMR24 took to Silverstone Circuit, a stone's throw away from the new AMR Technology Campus.
Its first foray on-track was witnessed by I / AM members who were invited to join us for our season launch and debut of our new F1 car.
Executive Chairman Lawrence Stroll also watched on, joined by Team Principal Mike Krack and other members of our senior leadership team as drivers Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso shared duties behind the wheel during filming day.
Speaking at the conclusion of the on-track action, Performance Director Tom McCullough, said: "The AMR24 ran really reliably and without any issues all day. A successful filming day with the opportunity to secure some data in the background of the full 200km.
"Both Lance in the morning and Fernando in the afternoon were really happy with the car. Overall, a very positive day. The way the car, our first from the AMRTC, has been built has been really impressive. Every year it gets better and better. So a big thank you to everyone in the team for all the hard work."
