8 TikToks you will sacrifice sleep for from the United States GP

The race weekend takes a new form when it's viewed through TikTok. Here's a round-up of some of our favourite TikToks from an action-packed week in Austin.

The Circuit of The Americas hosted a flat-out weekend, with another Sprint schedule and a bumper crowd of 432,000 coming out to the track on the outskirts of Austin over the course of the weekend.

Despite a lack of practice laps, Lance managed to secure six very valuable points with a brilliant recovery from the pitlane.

And we were flat-out off the track too, with I / AM A FAN in Austin celebrating your unique stories of fandom and bringing you closer to sport with events like an I / AM member meet-up at a karting track in Austin and a paddock experience to remember.

Here's our round-up of TikToks from Texas and beyond.

1 | Hats off

Austin is a great city for a Grand Prix, where the action on track blends seamlessly with the vibe downtown.

We took to the streets of the Lone Star State's capital, handing out our United States Grand Prix caps to lucky fans and rewarding their fandom.

Given the temperatures on the bleachers hit 34°C, those limited edition caps came in pretty handy.

2 | Childhood dream: tick

We had Racing Pride ambassador Jordan Rand with us in the garage and hospitality this weekend, watching pitstop practice up close and then filming the team from a vantage point in the Paddock Club.

Our partnership with Racing Pride has seen us proudly carry its logos on the car, raise awareness and celebrate the accomplishments of the LGBTQ+ community in motorsport and beyond – and it was lovely having Jordan with us.

3 | The high life

Celebrated Austin food blogger @atasteofKoko was with us this weekend, sampling the high life and haute cuisine of the Paddock Club, posing for pictures with Fernando, and with Jessica (rocking appropriate headgear, as always) before having a rather more down-to-earth experience of watching a session from the garage.

Granted, the floor is clean enough to eat your dinner off – but that might be frowned upon.

4 | Taking the wheel

We invited I / AM members to a kart track in downtown Austin for the chance to share their passion for the sport, connect with fellow F1 fans, meet members of our driver squad, and more.

@hi_its_nicole_fry was one of those to take the wheel in the build-up to last weekend's race at COTA.

5 | The mirror image

Artists never grow tired of drawing, sketching and painting Formula One cars; there's just something in the lines that appeals.

Is the AMR23 a work of art?

It is now.

6 | On your bike

The AMR23 livery, just not as we know it.

@by_razor has transformed the AMR23 livery and put it on their motocross bike.

We know Fernando would love one.

7 | Some assembly required

More crafting inspired by Aston Martin, this time in the form of LEGO.

@iamlyger builds the Valkyrie AMR Pro and Vantage from the Speed Champions set in this satisfying time-lapse.

There isn't a soul in the AMR Technology Campus who would pass on the opportunity to build one of these.

8 | Racing past and racing future

Forged in competition and driven by performance, Aston Martin's racing bloodline stretches beyond Formula One.

Here's a fabulous example of our racing heritage – and racing future, in the shape of the Valkyrie we’ll be taking to Le Mans...
