Meet the Creator Collective: Kiera Rockley is bringing a whole new meaning to ‘green’ fingers

Introducing Kiera, a TikTok creator who loves to mix floral design with Formula One.

Part florist and part motorsport-obsessed, Kiera has found her niche by bringing together two of her biggest passions. It's an unlikely combination, and yet, Kiera makes it work.

Known as @kierarockl on TikTok, her content sees driver helmets bloom into bouquets and team colours reimagined through petals. Now, Kiera will be bringing her floral arrangements and originality to season two of the TikTok Creator Collective.

We caught up with Kiera to talk Formula One, fangirl culture, flowers and how the best ideas always seem to arrive right as you're falling asleep.

Describe your content in three words.

"Creative, random, floral."

What's your current era?

"Being focused, improving and being happy.

"At the start of the year, I made a vision board, and one of the things I put on it was to become a part of the Aston Martin Aramco TikTok Creative Collective. I hadn't looked at it since I made it. I put it behind my bed and pulled it out yesterday, and the exact words were: 'I will become part of the Creator Collective.'

"This year, I'm seeing the results of all my hard work. I feel like I'm on the right path and doing something right. Everything seems to be coming together. It definitely feels like I'm on the right trajectory."

What made you want to post content combining F1 and floristry?

"I love floristry. I've been doing it for three years now.

"I remember thinking, 'I'm making all these really cool things, why would I not post them?' I found a way to link it to F1, which is such a niche thing that I hadn't seen anyone else do. The people who follow me really enjoy it."

Do you grow your own flowers?

"I would love to! I recently put my name down for an allotment, so I'm on the waiting list and can't wait to start growing my own. It feels so fresh when you use British-grown flowers.

"I co-hosted an event recently called Pilates and Petals. People came to do Pilates with an instructor, and then I took them through how to make a bouquet. For the flowers, I sourced British-farmed flowers and collected them up from a flower farm, and I thought, 'This is my dream,' because there were acres of wild flowers everywhere."

I love getting to love something loudly. It doesn't have to be dimmed just because I don't want to be seen as too much. If I'm going to like it, I'm going to like it loudly.

If your For You Page was turned into an exhibition, what would people learn about you?

"People would learn how much of a fangirl I am. If I like something, I like it deeply.

"My For You Page is so specific to me that it would be the craziest exhibition. I would want to be in there every day. I'd have a field day, seeing edits of everything that I watch, like flowers and weddings. It'd be great."

What excites you most about culture right now?

"I feel like fangirls are finally taking up space in sports without shame. I love fangirl culture and the way it's growing. I love getting to love something loudly.

"It doesn't have to be dimmed just because I don't want to be seen as too much. If I'm going to like it, I'm going to like it loudly. You're going to know about it."

Where does your inspiration come from?

"I'm really inspired by team colours and helmets. I love finding inspiration in what I see. I take it at face value and do something with it. I made a helmet out of flowers, which went surprisingly well for how complex it is.

"I am mid-planning doing a Fernando helmet. I just need to find the right colours and work out what flowers are in season, but that came about because I was watching a race and thought, 'That could be a challenge.'"

"I also get a lot of ideas at night when I'm in bed, and I'm like, 'Well, I can't do it now. I'm going to have to write it down.' The next day, I'll make it my mission to get it done and get it out, because I must have thought of it for a reason."

What can people expect from you and Aston Martin Aramco?

"I'm looking forward to having a lot of creativity, making a lot of hands-on content with flowers and curating a happy space.

"I know TikTok is always really fast-paced, so I'd like to make a nice environment for people to slow down and say, 'Oh, that's a nice video, actually.'"
